The class of 1959 has the joined the classes of 1962, 1960, 1961 and 1958 in establishing a scholarship fund for deserving Irvington High School seniors. Scholarships were presented
to Ronald Josias who attends Rutgers and Erica Williamson
who is attending Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. The
candidates’ eligibility was based on acceptance at a
college, grade point average, financial need, and
demonstrated concern for Irvington High School and / or the
community. A representative of the scholarship committee
visited the high school on class day for the presentations.
